MY LOVE FOR PHOTOGRAPHY
I was instinctively drawn away from the polished 'high fashion' world of photography which often does not bare truth on reality and instead drawn to the documentary, candid or photojournalism genre. I invested in photography training from award winning photographers that inspired me before founding Eternal Images Photography Ltd in Sheffield this is where my extensive wedding photography portfolio began. I also joined the Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers, Master of Photographers and Guild of Photographers for professional critique as I began to develop a photographic style and editing techniques of my own that founded the signature photographic style in my portfolio that you see now...with the support of my family and friends these were my grass routes into wedding photography.
2020 when everything changed for us all... I moved from Yorkshire to Norfolk with Natalie and Fenris. I also renamed my business from Eternal Images Photography Ltd to Neil Senior Photography Ltd it's a personal decision to use my surname as I lost family members this year and I would like to honour them through my business. I also feel my new business name is also less corporate sounding offering the personal approach to my photography I am known for. It is this approach that has seen me acknowledged as a regional 2021 finalist in the TWIA awards (The Wedding Industry Awards) for which I am extremely honoured.
Your Norfolk Wedding Photographer
When I am not out photographing weddings I love the North Norfolk landscape so I head outside with my beautiful wife Natalie and our dog Fenris for long walks along this amazing coastline with my camera in tow. Whatever the season our rambles usually end at The White Horse at Brancaster for Fish & Chips or the Norfolk Deli in Hunstanton.
I have been visiting the majestic North Norfolk coastline photographing wildlife and landscape throughout East Anglia before I even founded my business. I also regularly ventured into Suffolk photographing military aircraft in my spare time at Lakenheath and Mildenhall. More recently, Natalie and I renewed our vows at Cley Windmill, on the banks of Cley Next The Sea staying with a small number of our closest family and friends at the amazing Chaucer Barn in Gresham.
Visiting Norfolk as much as we did each year for family holidays, it made perfect sense for us to relocate making this amazing region of the UK our home. Now established, Neil Senior Photography Ltd is now located near to Norwich, Norfolk photographing Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and London weddings on request from 2020. My love for travel means I also continue to cover weddings across the UK including Yorkshire.
